The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) recently released a request for applications for the Healthy Soils Program, which provides funds for farmers to implement Healthy Soils practices in an effort to build soil carbon and reduce greenhouse gases in California agriculture. With support from the California Climate and Agriculture Network (CalCAN), The Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) will be hosting a workshop in Davis, CA on August 31st to provide technical assistance to California growers and ranchers interested in applying for the Healthy Soils incentives program.
